The built-in status indicators provide quick operating information: the red LED indicates charging, while the yellow LED indicates a low-battery condition.

Continuous, Flasher & Timer Modes

The mode-selector toggle switch allows selection between Continuous, Flasher and Timer operation, providing different control options according to the application.

• Continuous: Select Continuous and press the Push-to-ON button once to switch the search light ON.
• Flasher: Select Flasher. Press the Push-to-ON button to illuminate the search light and release it to switch the light OFF. Repeated button operation provides manual flashing.
• Timer: Select Timer and press the Push-to-ON button. The search light switches ON and automatically switches OFF after approximately 30 seconds.

6A DC Fuse Protection

The FOSASL-H55W uses a dedicated 6 Amp DC Fuse and Fuse Cap, both supplied with the search light. Before operating the unit, the fuse must be fitted into the dedicated fuse socket on the search light and secured with the fuse cap. The search light will not switch ON unless the fuse is correctly installed. This installation step should therefore be completed before first use.
