FOS Superlite 5W LED Search Light

The FOS Superlite, model FOSLSRLSL5WCW, is a compact rechargeable handheld LED search light designed for users who need dependable long-range illumination in a practical portable format. With a 5W LED, 650-lumen output, 6500K Cool White light and a beam reach of up to approximately 600 metres, Superlite is well suited to home, property, farm, warehouse, security, maintenance and outdoor applications where a focused beam is more useful than general area lighting.

5W LED Performance with 650 Lumens

The FOS Superlite uses a 5W LED producing 650 lumens of bright 6500K Cool White illumination. The concentrated beam is designed to reach up to approximately 600 metres under suitable conditions, helping users inspect boundaries, paths, equipment, open areas and distant objects after dark.

Actual visible range can vary with ambient light, weather and the characteristics of the area being illuminated. High, Low & Flasher Modes

Superlite provides three active lighting modes: High, Low and Flasher. High mode is intended for stronger illumination and provides approximately 4 hours of operating time. Low mode reduces output to extend battery life and provides approximately 8 hours of operating time.

Flasher mode adds a signalling function that can be useful during roadside situations, outdoor activities and other circumstances where a flashing light may help attract attention. Actual runtime can vary with battery condition, selected mode and usage conditions.

4V 4.5Ah Rechargeable Sealed Lead-Acid Battery

The search light is powered by a 4V 4.5Ah / 4500mAh sealed lead-acid / SMF rechargeable battery. This battery configuration provides a dependable power source for the Superlite platform and supports repeated portable use without disposable cells.

The battery is housed within the search light, allowing the unit to be carried and used independently of mains power once charged. This makes Superlite practical for routine household, professional and outdoor use where portable illumination is required away from a fixed power point.

Convenient AC Wall Charging

Charging is carried out with the supplied external AC wall charging adapter. The adapter connects to the search light through a 1 × co-axial charging port, providing a simple and familiar charging arrangement.

Approximate charging time is 5–6 hours. Keeping the search light charged between uses helps ensure that it is ready for night inspection, security rounds, emergency use and other situations where portable lighting may be needed at short notice.

Portable ABS Construction

The FOS Superlite uses a black ABS plastic body with a glossy finish. An integrated grip / grab handle provides convenient handheld control, while a single push button gives straightforward access to the available lighting modes.

The front diameter is approximately 130mm, and the aluminium reflector helps direct the LED output into a focused forward beam. Product dimensions are approximately 215 × 130 × 135mm (21.5 × 13 × 13.5cm), with a weight of approximately 975g including the battery. A supplied shoulder strap provides an additional carrying option for users moving between locations.
