FOS PROTECTOR 10W LED Search Light

The FOS PROTECTOR 10W LED Search Light is a heavy-duty rechargeable handheld search light developed for applications requiring dependable long-range illumination in a portable format. Powered by a 10W LED, PROTECTOR produces 1000 lumens of cool white light at a 6500K colour temperature and provides a beam range of up to 1 km. It is suited to security patrols, industrial premises, farms, outdoor sites, emergency requirements and other applications where powerful portable illumination is required.

1000 Lumens with Up to 1 km Beam Range

The 10W LED produces a focused cool-white beam designed for long-distance visibility. With an output of 1000 lumens and a beam range of up to 1 km, the PROTECTOR can be used for perimeter observation, night patrols, outdoor inspection and general long-range field illumination.

6V 5Ah SMF Rechargeable Battery

The search light is powered by a 6V 5Ah SMF lead-acid rechargeable battery. The battery provides up to approximately 5.5 hours of operation on High mode and up to 10 hours on Low mode, giving users the flexibility to balance illumination intensity and operating duration according to the application.

High, Low & Flasher Modes

PROTECTOR provides three operating modes: High, Low and Flasher. A push-button switch provides straightforward operation. High mode provides maximum illumination for long-range visibility, while Low mode extends operating time when maximum output is not required. Flasher mode provides an additional signalling option for field and emergency applications.

Inbuilt 220V AC Charging

An inbuilt AC charger allows the search light to be charged from a 220V AC mains supply using the supplied charging lead. A separate external charging adapter is not required for normal AC charging. Approximate charging time is 10 hours, and a charging indicator provides convenient charging-status indication.

This standard FOSASLP-L10WCW configuration is supplied for AC mains charging and should not be confused with separately available optional solar-charging configurations of the wider PROTECTOR family.

Heavy-Duty ABS Construction

The PROTECTOR is manufactured with a rugged 3 mm thick ABS body in black and is designed for demanding portable use. The search light has a 165 mm front diameter and 135 mm tail diameter and weighs approximately 1.65 kg with battery. Its integrated carrying arrangement and supplied adjustable shoulder strap make it practical to carry during patrols, inspections and outdoor field work.

Designed for Demanding Field Use

The construction is designed to withstand the requirements of regular outdoor and professional handling, with shock protection up to 1 metre. The specified operating-temperature range of -10°C to +55°C supports use across a broad range of working environments.
