FOS COB Zoom LED Downlight – 20W, 30W & 40W with 360° Adjustable Head

The FOS COB Zoom LED Downlight is a recessed architectural ceiling light designed for applications where the direction of illumination needs to be adjusted after installation. Available in 20W, 30W and 40W, the range combines focused COB illumination with an adjustable lighting head that provides angular movement and 360° directional rotation.

Once the fitting is installed in the ceiling, the lighting head can be repositioned to aim illumination towards the required area without changing the position of the recessed outer fitting. This makes the COB Zoom range particularly useful for architectural, accent, display, retail and other directional interior-lighting applications.

360° Adjustable Directional Head

The defining feature of the FOS COB Zoom range is its adjustable lighting head. The head can be moved angularly and rotated through 360°, allowing the direction of illumination to be changed according to the layout of the interior.

This directional flexibility is useful for illuminating artwork, merchandise, displays, architectural features, seating areas and other selected zones where a conventional fixed downlight may not provide the required beam direction.

2000, 3000 & 4000 Lumens at 100 lm/W

The FOS COB Zoom range offers a luminous efficacy of 100 lumens per watt. This corresponds to 2000 lumens for the 20W model, 3000 lumens for the 30W model and 4000 lumens for the 40W model.

Model-Specific Focused Beam Angles

The optical beam angle varies according to wattage. The 20W model uses a 24° beam angle, while the 30W and 40W models use a 36° beam angle.

The specified beam angle describes the optical spread of the light. The adjustable head changes the direction in which the beam is aimed; it does not mean that the optical beam angle itself is variable.

COB Configuration

The 20W model uses an 11 mm COB, while the higher-powered 30W and 40W models use a 17 mm COB.

This wattage-specific configuration should be considered together with the corresponding beam angle, fitting dimensions and ceiling cut-out when selecting the appropriate model.

Aluminium Construction

The FOS COB Zoom range features aluminium construction and is available in Black and White body colours, allowing the fitting to complement different ceiling and interior finishes.

Recessed Ceiling Installation

The three wattage options have model-specific fitting dimensions and ceiling cut-outs:

• 20W: Outer Size 135 × 115 mm | Ceiling Cut-out Ø120 mm
• 30W: Outer Size 165 × 150 mm | Ceiling Cut-out Ø150 mm
• 40W: Outer Size 165 × 150 mm | Ceiling Cut-out Ø150 mm

The appropriate ceiling opening should be prepared according to the selected wattage before installation.

AC 90–265V Operation

The complete range operates across an AC 90–265V input range and uses an External HPF (>0.98) driver configuration.

Three Colour Temperature Options

Each wattage is available in three light-colour options:

• Warm White – 2700K: A warmer lighting character suited to residences, restaurants, hotels and hospitality interiors.
• Neutral White – 4000K: A balanced white-light appearance suited to boutiques, showrooms, offices and contemporary commercial interiors.
• Cool White – 6500K: A cooler, crisp white-light appearance for applications where a brighter-looking white light is preferred.
