This FOS 4 feet LED hanging profile light provides clean linear illumination for contemporary indoor spaces. Its 1200mm die-cast aluminium profile has a black powder-coated finish and a continuous opal polycarbonate diffuser. Available in 36W and 48W, this suspended fitting lets you select the appropriate wattage and white-light colour while keeping the same architectural design.

Lighting Options and Colour Temperature

Both options offer luminous efficacy of ≥100 lm/W, providing corresponding minimum outputs of ≥3600 lumens (36W) and ≥4800 lumens (48W). Choose Cool White 6500K for a crisp lighting atmosphere, Neutral White 4000K for balanced everyday illumination or Warm White 2700K for a softer visual character. The three colour options are available for either wattage, making it simple to select a combination for the room.

The SMD 2835 LEDs sit behind a polycarbonate diffuser, creating a continuous visible lighting surface. Rather than dominating the ceiling, the linear profile can complement modern furniture, counters and architectural details. Consistent light colour across several fixtures can create a more unified interior arrangement.

Aluminium Profile and Driver

The fixture measures 1200mm in length with a 50 × 70mm profile cross-section. Its die-cast aluminium housing and black powder-coated exterior give the suspended unit a defined geometric form. The fitting includes an internal high-power-factor LED driver, accepts AC 90–265V input and has power factor >0.98. Its colour rendering index is CRI >75. The separate electrical supply lead does not form part of the mechanical suspension.

Installation and Adjustable Suspension System

Each light includes a two-point adjustable steel-wire suspension kit with two separate cables, approximately 1.25m each, sliding threaded studs, profile-side cable cylinders, ceiling holders, spring-loaded gripper inserts, screws and wall plugs. The approximately 1.25m measurement describes the supplied cable lengths.

1. Attach to the profile. Open the small retaining piece at the end of the rear profile channel. Slide in the two square-base threaded studs and position them along the slot. Pass the stopped end of each steel cable through its small internally threaded cylinder, then screw that cylinder onto its profile stud. Confirm both fittings are secure.

2. Fix the ceiling-side assemblies. Mark two points aligned with the profile attachments and secure the cylindrical ceiling holders using fixings suitable for the ceiling structure. Each holder has an upper screw fixing, a separate side exit for spare suspension cable and a lower opening for the threaded cable gripper. Feed the free end of each cable through its spring-release gripper and holder, routing surplus cable through the side opening.

3. Set the hanging height. Keep the fixture supported during adjustment. Press each gripper’s spring-loaded release pin to slide its cable, then release the pin to lock the cable. Adjust both suspension points until the profile is level. Check that both grippers hold securely before transferring the weight of the fitting onto the cables.

The attached electrical lead exits the aluminium profile separately from the two steel suspension cables. A qualified electrician should isolate the electrical supply and make the connection in accordance with the fitting’s wiring arrangement. The electrical lead must not carry the weight of the light. Confirm that the mounting points and anchors are suitable for the supporting structure.
