Heavy-Duty Telescopic Lighting Support
REALBUY Heavy-Duty 12ft Telescopic Tripod Stand is designed to provide a strong, adjustable mounting platform for compatible LED flood lights, rechargeable flood lights, search lights and other lighting fixtures. Its substantial steel construction, wide three-leg base and dual telescopic extension system make it suitable for professional, commercial and outdoor lighting applications where additional mounting height and flexibility are required.
Adjustable Height up to Approx. 12 ft
The dual telescopic extension sections allow the mounting height to be adjusted from approximately 150 cm with the tripod legs fully spread to a recommended maximum operating height of approximately 365 cm (12 ft). Independent locking mechanisms secure the telescopic sections at the required working height.
Detachable 5-Point T-Bar
The stand includes a detachable horizontal steel T-bar measuring approximately 119.5 cm (4 ft) across. Five usable mounting positions provide flexibility for installing multiple compatible lighting fixtures across the bar. The centre position can also be used for mounting a compatible fixture above the tripod while the T-bar remains secured to the stand.
The number and size of fixtures that can be installed simultaneously depend on their physical dimensions, mounting-bracket alignment and combined weight. Up to five suitably sized compatible fixtures may be installed where their dimensions allow correct alignment with the mounting positions and the total recommended working load is not exceeded.
Convertible Single-Fixture Mounting
When a multi-light arrangement is not required, the T-bar can be removed. The upper threaded stud assembly can also be unscrewed using its integrated transverse handle, exposing the female threaded top socket for direct mounting of a compatible single fixture or mounting interface. This convertible arrangement allows the same stand to be used for both single-fixture and multi-fixture lighting setups.
Wide Folding Tripod Base
The three-leg folding base provides a maximum foot-to-foot spread of approximately 147 cm when fully opened. The adjustable tripod mechanism allows the leg position to be varied as required, while the folding construction reduces the stand to approximately 154 cm in length for storage and transport when the telescopic sections are retracted and the T-bar is removed.
Substantial Steel Construction
The main mast, tripod legs, supporting structure and detachable T-bar use steel construction with a black textured protective finish. The telescopic sections feature a polished/chrome finish. The complete stand weighs approximately 9.15 kg, providing a substantial mounting platform compared with lightweight photographic lighting stands.
Recommended Working Load
The recommended total working load is up to approximately 12 kg when the mounted load is evenly distributed. Fixture dimensions, mounting position, operating height, leg spread and installation conditions all affect overall stability.
Safety & Stability
For best stability, position the stand on a firm, level surface and spread the tripod legs appropriately before mounting or extending the fixtures. Distribute multiple fixtures as evenly as practical across the T-bar and do not exceed the recommended working load. Stability reduces as mounting height increases or when the load is concentrated unevenly. Additional securing or anchoring should be used where required by the installation environment, particularly in exposed outdoor locations.
